April turned pain into purpose and became a mental health advocate.
April is a wife and the proud mother of six incredible children. In 2022, her world was forever changed when she lost her youngest daughter, Cheslie Kryst, to mental illness.
Before her passing, Cheslie left behind a manuscript and asked April in her final message to ensure it was published. Two years later, that manuscript became a New York Times Best Seller.

April's dedication and resilience inspire her ongoing mission to create
awareness and support for mental health.
